Ok, well, you know THAT part! And I'm not about to go into details LOL. But moving forward a few days from there. The first indication I had that maybe, possibly, this was the month was when I had a totally unexplained nose bleed a week or so ago. Now, in the winter, I'd have thought nothing of it, dry winter air generally means frequent nose bleeds for me. And probably even in our old house in the summer, w/ the a/c on, I'd probably have blamed the dryness of the a/c. But this house, even WITH the a/c on, could never be considered DRY this time of year. So I was baffled. Then it occurred to me that there was a slight chance I could be pregnant. I looked up online, and sure enough, while I don't remember having any w/ my first pregnancy, nose bleeds ARE common in pregnancy. So I became very cautiously hopeful. . .
I haven't been keeping real close track of my cycles recently, so I wasn't real sure when to test. Decided to go ahead & try on Wed. figuring (based on my calculations) that it was still early enough that negative wouldn't really mean anything. But it was positive! No squinting required, positive!
My parents got here Wed evening, we went to Sesame Place on Thurs, hung out here with my parents on Fri, and then dh left after church Sabbath to take the girls to his mom's for overnight. So, I didn't get a chance to tell dh until after the girls were in bed last night. I'm not sure it's totally sunk in with him yet, he just kinda sat there in shock. And looked at me like I was insane when I asked if he was ready to talk names yet LOL.
There's a midwife practice that does homebirths less than 3 mi from our house so I'll be calling them this week.
As I said, I wasn't watching cycles real close, but looks like baby#3 is due in early April.
